About this service
A conservatory roof is the flattest, most exposed glazing on the house, and it gets dirty fast: green algae along the glazing bars, black streaks under the ridge and moss in the box gutters. Because it is fragile and awkward to reach, it is also the roof most people never clean.
We clean conservatory roofs from the ground and from purpose-made access boards, using pure water and soft brushes only. Polycarbonate, glass and self-cleaning glass are all handled with the appropriate method, and the seals and gaskets are never subjected to pressure.
Part of Walls & Glass. Low-pressure biocide treatments for render and brickwork, and reverse-osmosis pure water for windows, conservatories and solar panels — a spot-free finish with no ladders on your walls.

Why it matters
What a dirty conservatory roof costs you
- 01
Algae and grime cut the natural light that the room was built for.
- 02
Moss in the box gutters and valleys blocks drainage and leads to leaks at the wall junction.
- 03
Black streaking from the ridge stains the glazing bars permanently if left for years.
- 04
Debris on polycarbonate traps moisture and accelerates the yellowing of the panels.

How we do it
Our conservatories process
- 01
Clear the roof
Leaves, moss and debris are removed from the roof, valleys and box gutters first.
- 02
Frames and bars
Glazing bars and frames are brushed with pure water to lift algae from every edge.
- 03
Panels
Each panel is scrubbed and rinsed — with a conservatory-safe cleaner on heavy staining.
- 04
Sides and doors
Vertical glass, frames and doors are cleaned last so nothing runs down onto finished work.

Benefits
What conservatories does for your property
Brighter room
Noticeably more daylight the moment the roof is clean.
Fewer leaks
Clear box gutters and valleys drain properly again.
Seal-safe
No pressure, no solvents — gaskets and sealant untouched.
Fits with window rounds
Add the conservatory to a regular window clean and it never gets bad again.
Honest expectations. We will always tell you before we start if a surface has damage that cleaning cannot fix — cracked tiles, failed pointing, UV-yellowed plastic — so there are no surprises on the day.
